I am good at being wildly creative and generative. I am not good at finding things. Organization is my evil nemesis. But, I do hate wasting time looking for my materials, so I keep trying... One lesson I have reluctantly learned, is buy good quality binders. It hurts my thrifty soul, but replacing them can add up. I like to have a clear cover so I can list what is in it. By sticking with one color, my bookshelves look less chaotic:) I tutor students, using Orton-Gillingham methodologies. We teach according to a sequence: we have 3 skill levels, with specific sounds we teach under each. I have 1 notebook per level. Welcome to my holiday blog. After 2 years of separation, my family will all be on the same continent for 2 glorious weeks. Despite working full time and all of the stress that life can bring, I have been determined to do it all. One one or another, I am determined to have a good, old fashioned Christmas. You know, like the Griswolds. Instead of letting my blog slowly catch on, I decided to send it directly to people. My kids insist it's Spam, but who could object to a lovely luncheon spread?
